A little bit about me:

My name is Lisa, since I was born in Germany, my name is pronounced slightly different from the English version, with a round "s" instead of a sharp (ß) one.

All illustrations are handmade and scanned with high-resolution scanners. Materials I use are: water colors, ballpoint pen, screen tone, spray paint and ink.

My photographs were taken analog with film, developed and scanned. My photographs have been described "an observation of the small things we tend to overlook in our daily lifes"¹.

Awards

I don't participate in competitions anymore, since many of them ask for a rather high fee for entries from young artists. Given the fact that there are very few people making sufficient money with high-quality art, and these submissions are rather expensive, I decided against competitions.
I did, however, win as one of the first prices in a "Draw Your Own Ice Bear" contest in Cologne, Germany, when I was 6 or 7, a really fluffy ice bear :)
